Straight answers
Are the designs actually animated, or do they just blink?
They animate. Every pixel on the strands is addressed individually, so the snow falls, the sleigh moves across the tree and the star twinkles rather than the whole string flashing on and off together. Changing between them is one tap in the app and takes about a second.
Is it safe to leave on around kids and pets?
Yes. The strands run on low voltage from the supplied adapter and stay cool to the touch — there is no mains voltage anywhere on the tree itself. Keep the controller and adapter off the floor and out of standing water, use it indoors only, and don't run a damaged strand.
What size tree does it fit?
Two sizes. The 1.8m kit covers trees up to about 6 ft and the 2.1m kit covers trees up to about 7 ft. Pick the one at or above your tree's height — the strands can sit slightly long and be tucked in, but they cannot stretch. It works on real and artificial trees either way.
